Our story

TWiTaWOO was born after photos from boxes stored in a loft were found to be fading through years and years of storage. The family memories were fading fast.

By scanning each photo in turn, and auto-correcting during the scan, we were able to successfully digitise our ageing photos.We had forgotten about many of them!

Now we could easily share our new images with our families and friends just as we can share a mobile phone image, and they will never fade away again!

We also found a box of black & white photos dating back to 1927 from previous family generations, which needed scanning, restoring and some of them were colourised using a variety of software (including AI) and our specialist skills to bring them back to the modern day standard.

Inspired by the emotion and delight in family and friend’s faces when they viewed the new images, we have created a service that restores images and also revives the stories they tell.
